26. Euler-Lecture in Sanssouci
On May 4, 2018, at 2 pm, the 26th Euler-Lecture will take place at the University of Potsdam. In his lecture „Sailing Through Data: Discoveries and Mirages“, Prof. Emmanuel Candès (Stanford University) will give insight into the challenges of large amounts of data for mathematics and statistics.
The traditional historical lecture will be held by Prof. Peter Ullrich (Universität Koblenz-Landau).
Matheon and ECMath as well as other mathematical institutions of the Berlin-Potsdam-Region cordially invite to the ceremony.
